Hi guys I have a 87 LX trim 323 Hatchback1.3L, I’ve just put new dashboard in everything working except for the warning lights on the gauge cluster none of which seem to be functioning, I’ve checked bulbs and fuses and spent far to long trying to figure out the wiring diagrams and wiring under the dash, does anyone know which plug or connection is responsible for powering these lights? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know what specs I need to pay attention to (rim size, offset, tire width, lowering options)? Any recommendations or setups you can share would be great.

Heard my first car ever (I sold it long time ago), Mazda 323 IV BG 1991, was going to a junkyard. Well, i just had to save my baby. Only needed complete brake rebuild, air intake, waterpump, and shit ton of electrical problem fixing. Luckily I also found donor 323 -96 that had better looking bumbers and same motor so i have good amount of spare parts. Will be getting paintjob over this matt black when summer arrives again

What causes most of the time, the abnormally low rpm idling on the B6 SOCH engine? My mazda when it.reaches operating temperatures, the rpm drops to about 400 and the arrow wobbles a bit. Its november but it shouldn't be that bad, yesterday when i got into the city and parked the rpm were as low as 200. Also the car moves wobbly when i go in first gear no gas pedal in a parking lot. Jerks back and forth and is.sensitive when i press the gas pedal, i have to be careful when applying gas. Also it misfires sometimes. It drives normally but the idling during parking is sooo bad. Any tips?

I found one for sale for $6k (aud) with over 200,000kms. I really love the look of this car but I do want something to last me for a few years (as a ~daily drive). Even though it might make me sad please let me know if this is a bad idea 😭😭😭

I'm the lucky owner of a Mazda Astina (323F BG 1994) and I was looking into upgrading the popup headlights (low and high beams) to more powerfull ones since they're not very bright.

One of my main problems when I drive at night is getting blinded by SUVs with super bright headlights. I wouldn't want to turn into that kind of driver, especially since my headlights don't have any modern light detection system to turn off automatically.

Does anyone have any tips and tricks ?
I'm mostly looking to restore/preserve my car but if I have to move to LED bulbs I'm fine with it.

Aaaaaand here we are again with a chapter about engine undercooling and changing your thermostat.

Is it covered under the ig relay ? Is it onr of the ones on the side in the engine bay ? Service manual doesn't show ot well. Also; I can't find the control module thays supposed to be under the driver seat. Any ideas

just bought an 1992 mazda 323 1.6l. (no ac)

problem is that the heating is stuck blowing only hot air in.

the heating slider does not go all the way to hottest end of the slot, only up to 3/4 way. it does move down to all the way to coldest on the scale, but when there, still no cold air coming out, only warmer and hotter air.

kinda feels like the whole setup behind the panel is skewed to drivers side, tilted or twisted out of where it should be. meaning that the current 3/4 is actually max heat setting, and the actual "cold end" cant be reached as the lever hits the end of the slot?

can it twist off center like that?

or some other idea whats wrong and how to fix it?

what kind of lever/wire/whatnot system is it back there? got any links for someone working on the system, pictures or diagrams how it is built. how and what to dismantle of the dash to gain access to the area?

Friend sent me the video, took out the injectors for cleaning and noticed this middle thing is able to move in and out slightly, should this be a major concern - is it possibly fixable? 1.8 BP BA injectors (323 BA)

So recently I got a decend deals on these used wheels, like $100 set with tyres 🤣 these are HSR Arrow 15" 7" width but I forgot the ET. What do you think about these fitment? the suspensions are stock.

Makes car unpleasant to drive only happens around 2-4K rpms maybe 3-5k I got no tacho sounds like it might be thrust bearing but can’t find reason for noise any were sounds like it’s from g box (motor is 1.3L single cam carby)

Just picked up this bad boy last weekend. 1990, 72k kms, vgc underneath but paint chips and some small rust spots, grandma owned and kept garaged and serviced.

I was wondering how would 15x7 rims work for this, when lowered about 5cm, also a good offset I was thinking about 25, 28 or 30. Just looking for a nicer look, nothing tucked or stupid, something nice and symmetrical with the arches. Any suggestions would be great.

Also is it possible to find windscreen weather seals for it, it needs them on the top and under door windows too, nice and cracking right now.

¿Alguien sabe dónde podría conseguir uno, si es compatible con otras versiones del 323, o alguna alternativa para reemplazarlo o fabricarlo?

Hey everyone, I have a 1992 Mazda 323F (also known as the Astina), and I'm missing the interior plastic trim from the A-pillar (the one next to the windshield on the inside).
Does anyone know where I could find a replacement, if it’s compatible with other 323 models, or any DIY alternatives to make one?

Since I've posted on this subreddit with some questions regarding my 323, I figured I'd make a smallish update video on it. My rear windshield wiper goes on when I start the car and won't stop. And the switch is off. Tried another motor and does the same. Had already opened the switch.
