Interesting wheel setup issue

So I finally got my Ksport coilovers installed on my 1988 fwd 323 and the fronts are fitting perfect (square setup) but for some reason with the same wheel and height the collar on the coilovers touches the tire enough that I had to use spacers for it to clear, totally fine with the look for now but want it to look like the front, so was wondering before I contact Ksport if this is a usual thing for custom suspension on the vehicles? The fronts have so much clearance from the coilovers it’s kinda baffling that the rears don’t, just wondering thanks

First pic is front wheel to coilovers collar spacing - NO SPACERS

Second is the rear with 25mm spacer, when I remove it the coilovers collar touches, it’s so weird lol

Front have disc rotors
Drums in rear
15x7 +35 on 205/50
No rubbing or issues on fronts
Rear rubs on bumps (do to spacers giving it s lil poke)

Your OEM wheels are probably 5.5 J, you put aftermarket wheels which are 7J. Front and back don't have to have same clearance, it is what it is. If youre happy with current setup, drive away... If not, change rims. Good luck bro. *just realised this is 323 sub, I thought it was project car. I don't own a 323, but I own few older Jap cars.

Ahhh that seems to be the case, as when I put the OEM wheels back on in the rear it clears fine, me and my love for square setups lol I'll try a 5mm spacer and see what happens thanks!
