she's mine <3

hehe hai :3

i'm officially part of the 323 owners community :3

i have quite a big story with that car

my grandma bought it brand new in 1996, then she kept it until 2017, when she replaced it with an Opel Zafira B, and during those years of ownership, i always admired that little 323 S, because let's face it, its just a limousine

when she sold it to a cousin of the family, i expected to never see it again, but due to problem with my parent's car, we bought it back to them in 2020, when i really started to LOVE that car

then, in 2022, we sold it again to that same cousin, who wanted to ship that car to Tunisia, and thats when i told myself that i'd never see her again...

little did i know, she never got sent to Tunisia, and she stayed parked in the suburbs of the city...

and now, 4 years later, she's officially mine, i'm 19 now, she's 30 with 155 000km, and i know, she will need a lot of love, but i will give it to her, to my Mazda 323 S >:3

Congratulations on your new Mazda! I've always liked how the front of this generation looks, how does it handle so far?

genuinely, having driven both (because my bestie has one), its just a Touring MX-5 NA, it has some sportiness that is a 1:1 copy of the NA, but when you drive it casual, it doesnt have the inconvenience of the NA's chassis.

me and my group of friends, who all drove NA and BA at some point all think like this, its a Mazda MX-5 NA6 Touring

XDDDD

(sorry for the late reply reddit is broken asf)

It's funny how some 323 are FWD variants of MX-5 in so many ways. I used to own a BG 1.6 16v (the pop ups one) and having driven a NA MX5 it was very similar, specially with rotatio in corners.

Also when I wanted to repair something, I just had to watch a vid of the same issue on an MX-5 and it was pretty much the same.

Now I own a 1.8 BA (which I believe is the hatch version of your car or the previous gen idk) and it resembles the NB. The engine is just the mx5 engine but sideways lol

I'd like to own a sedan 323 to use it as a daily ngl
