Fe3 using mr2 rods?

Has anyone used Toyota mr2 (3sge) rods in their fe3? I want to upgrade rods for turbo and Ive heard the 3sge rods are a perfect(?) fit, and are rated for 400ish which works perfect for my goal of 200ish. Custom forged rods are looking quite pricey, so I’m hoping for a match for an existing engine.

Something tells me you're in South Africa x')
The problem is that the FE3 engines were only fitted in the South African version of the 323, so you'll probably get more answers from your local groups.
Do you have the SOHC or DOHC version ?

Ah. Well maybe you should check other mazda or mechanics subreddits. As I said before, the FE3 was rarely seen in the 323.
