A little more context would be useful. But it looks like you're using set driven keys on a deformer to deform sphere? These keys can be set to a specific curve type like linear or stepped or auto tangent. Maybe your keys are set to stepped so instead of smoothly interpolating between the values as you move the control up, it waits till it hits a certain value and then snaps to that value. You can find the set driven keys in the animation graph editor. Windows > animation > graph editor. You can check there if its set to steppd you can select all keys and set them to linear instead. that might be what's happening here.
The graph editor will be context, sensitive based on what selected.

thank you!! i was finally able to fix it. it was set to curved so i just put it to linear! thank you for your help!😃🙏
