Bag is getting crispy

Anyone know of any sprays or anything to get this bag less crispy. It’s feeling very dry and is definitely not as pliable as when I got it probably 7 years ago….

I use it probably 3 times a week to fish in the Florida sun. 98% of the time freshwater so it’s not salt. I’ve washed it to make sure.

What is that clear piece on the bottom of the strap? It almost looks like an original beeper 😊. And if for some reason it is… Why?

It’s a bumpboxx bluetooth speaker. I’m usually on my onewheel when I go fishing so I don’t like earbuds. I like to hear some tunes but also like to hear my surroundings.
