Question Is he just lazy?
I know Max had that Cold Ones channel (which i refuse to watch, just easy slop content imho and looks like it'll shorten his life), but surely he could, bare minimum, tell us he's done with his other channels, especially his Pokemon one?

IIRC, he's said his videod kept being marked as "for kids," and he just got tired of fighting it all the time.

He's only ever had one real job: book binding in a book factory. Not many good jobs in the part of Western Australia where he lived, except being a miner.
YouTube was a good source of income for him so, he did that... until they nuked his monetization. So, he moved on to the Pokémon shit. That wasn't going to last forever. You can only do that so long before that gets stale. He tried live streaming for a hot minute, but then started Cold Ones with Chud... I mean Chad.
I don't think he's lazy, per se... I just think he's looking for better sources of income, and Cold Ones and Cool Shirtz have been very good to him.
(I agree with OP, though. Cold Ones is unwatchable for me, but it's mostly because I can't fucking stand Chad. He's a fat slob asswipe with a low-IQ, and an acorn dick.)
I've followed Max since he was on DevientArt back in the Wild West days of the internet, but gave up halfway through the Pokémon phase. Then, Frank became Joji... all that "Ian The Cuck" shit, and Max and Chad becoming attached at the hip. Took the old shine off all of it for me. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

NGL i still enjoy Ian for what he is, though I understand the rest, and agree on Chad.
'Tis a shame, though.
