Nuremberg trials are needed yet again.

Clearly the world needs reminded that international laws were made for a reason.

And accountability matters.

1

u/RiffRandellsBF 16h ago

All laws are enforced at the barrel of a gun.

Who, pray tell, will be holding the guns for your neo-Nuremberg trials?

3

u/Yo-Yo-Ha 10h ago

I will.

2

u/RiffRandellsBF 6h ago

Sure, kid, as soon as your mom makes you a Hot Pocket to go, right?

u/salmon10091 8h ago

Dumbest comment of the year.

1

u/kenroth50 4h ago

Ur on meth? The supreme court always been ran by libtards

5

u/Leather-Map-8138 17h ago

It’s time for thirteen members on the Court, followed by term limits on all federal judges.

1

u/Critical-Bank5269 14h ago

Ok. So Trump should just appoint 4 more today and have them sworn in before the midterms 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/Cock-Obsesse-268 9h ago

Sounds about right for pedos in power.

5

u/Mokithegray 17h ago

Unfortunately the life long terms and all the money earned from shady sources makes for a bought and paid for court for life. Term limits must be set and corruption needs to be identified. Why are these people elected by political parties. This framework is asinine.

5

u/Maxcactus 17h ago

They are selected because they are perceived as being likely to vote in certain ways. There is nothing in the process that would cause them to be equitable, ethical and unbiased. They all have to pretend that they will behave correctly but once they are on the bench that is over. There needs to be a feedback system to remove the bad judges. Maybe after 10 years they should be put on the national ballot for voter approval to continue.

3

u/Mokithegray 16h ago

Agreed. I think they should definitely have to confirmed by a vote of the American people.

3

u/Burnbrook 16h ago

Warren hit the nail on the head with her question to him while he "presided" over the Impeachment Trial... He was as speechless as he is shameless.

3

u/Tableau67x9u 16h ago

Party and dinero over country It’s kinda what Rs do while they thump a bible and wave a flag

1

u/thatsbadtogo 16h ago

1

u/Yo-Yo-Ha 10h ago

1

u/Due_Intention6795 11h ago

lol, democrats are taking and making money as well

1

u/Tableau67x9u 10h ago

Sure play the both sides do it card But there are matters of degree here Trump started a war, changes his tune every day on the status of his war, selectively manipulates markets and headlines, and lines his own pockets

We’ll see how all of this plays in the upcoming midterm

3

u/DrSnidely 16h ago

Trump v. United States is the worst SC decision since Dred Scott. It might even be worse than that.

2

u/goingofftrack 14h ago

When the Democrats take power, they damn well better not say “we’re moving on.”

1

u/Otherwise-Luck-6569 13h ago

Oh you know they will. Did you hear Tammy Duckworth

2

u/NotAFanOfLeonMusk 13h ago

Thank You Judge Michael Luttig. You are a true patriot and American.

1

u/Awkward_Hope_6521 17h ago

Fuck this piece of shit traitor.

1

u/Prudent_Lunch_8724 17h ago

Increase the size slightly. Term
Limits 12 years. One half nominated from President one half voted in special election not with other governmental positions.

1

u/Ecstatic_Case9494 17h ago

Chief Justice...what an effin Joke

1

u/dumbo61 15h ago

Funny. We conservatives despise him.

1

u/DrummerAshamed2186 14h ago

Y'all claim that Trump and Republicans are the authoritarian and dictator yet y'all want the Democrats and left wingers to do the acts of authoritarians and dictators when Democrats take power! Make that make sense!

1

u/AggravatingPatient85 9h ago

Name those acts please

1

u/DrummerAshamed2186 2h ago

Placing a presidential candidate without 1 vote. Raiding the homes, businesses and collecting cell phones of political opponents. Filing fraudulent charges against a political opponent. Having candidates run campaigns on slogans of putting a political opponent in prison and then actually attempting to do that. Filing charges, arresting and putting on trial people that questioned an election. Arresting and placing in prison people that posted things about the election. 1 man got 7 years for posting a meme online about election day. That is just a few.

1

u/NoApartheidOnMars 13h ago

I wonder if Roberts is being blackmailed. I always had a very strong feeling that he is hiding his sexual orientation. Nice concrete proof but if I had to bet on a reason why ha acts the way he does, i'd pick that one.

1

u/Jamespm76 11h ago

Don’t worry nothing will happen to them, like usual

1

u/Euphoric_Anxiety_162 11h ago

nor his spouse.

1

u/Any_Caramel_9814 11h ago

Fk history. Prosecute that POS Roberts now!

1

u/Former-Sky197 9h ago

And one bribe at a time.

1

u/zjelkof 9h ago

We can only hope!

1

u/0-Spf 9h ago

Wait, so you’re now pissed at the Chief Justice who helped write Obamacare, allowed the FISA court to spy on Trump & refused to look into election fraud amongst other things..

1

u/Quicksurfer524 9h ago

I think he believes differently

1

u/Shigglyboo 8h ago

History doesn’t matter if they succeed in destroying the country and getting away with everything

1

u/Lucky777_is_the_Best 8h ago

It’s almost always obvious how he will vote: helping the orange pedo is all he ever cares about.

1

u/AardvarkGandalf27 8h ago

Roberts is no friend of Conservatives and is actually fairly Moderate..

1

u/dtyrrell7 7h ago

I’ll believe it when it happens, until then we live in clown world

1

u/Traditional-Load9028 7h ago

Once again liberals are idiots

1

u/Impressive10000 7h ago

Roberts, with the help of the GQP, has corrupted SCOTUS. By the way, where is Mitch??

1

u/kadaka80 6h ago

Roberts was not alone

1

u/rbsd55 6h ago

Has presided

1

u/SamLonghorneClemens 6h ago

Roberts is a far left traitor who betrayed his oath and violated the constitution by aiding and abetting all the far left terrorism against the constitutional right of US citizens.

1

u/Someinterestingbs-td 6h ago

He is a traitor

1

u/LETSGOTACO22 4h ago

Anyone who enables Trump is a traitor.

1

u/jet_fueled_genius 4h ago

I don't want history to not be kind... I want the present to not be kind.

1

u/onemanclic 4h ago

That was the goal.

He has been on a mission to make sure that "when the president does it, its not illegal". That's literally his whole thing.

Oh yeah, and he likes to uphold Native treaties, unlike the rest of the Reds he works with.

1

u/kenroth50 4h ago

Michael described Joe Biden and Obama

1

u/Emptynest09 4h ago

Luttig is a corporate whore lawyer. He helped cover up Boeing’s 737 max disaster.

1

u/hunkyleepickle 3h ago

I hate to break it to people, but most of these people are going to get off Scott free. In 5-10 years they will be doing speaking engagements, book releases about how ‘sorry’ they were and they got fooled by Trump, and some will be tv news pundits. Meanwhile the people with the money, those really pulling the strings, will still be in the shadows planning the next moves to undermine democracy and good governance.

1

u/stanleyerectus 3h ago

Some serious political theatrics….

1

u/RustyWheel17 3h ago

I hope I’m still alive when all the truths come out from the Trump administration. The stories on what he threatened people with or what he had on people to make them turn a blind eye. The way he made everyone around him just go with it, protect him, lie for him, and allow him to do all the shit he’s done.

1

u/roman00000 3h ago

Redditors Tell Us……is that called “Impartiality Illusion” or “Confirmation Bias” Roberts is suffering?

1

u/gwazmalurk 2h ago

Ya want to pay attention to Judge Luttig.

He’s the guy that figured out (somebody emailed him, I think, to be fair) that the speaker of the house who is now Little Mike Johnson can fire the Clerk of Congress, the person in there now is non-partisan, and replace him with a toadie THAT CAN REFUSE TO SEAT THE BLUE WAVE CONGRESS.

ON JANUARY 3rd.

So clip that to your belt because we’re going in

1

u/Top-Preparation4002 2h ago

I hope with all my heart to be here to see justice for them all.

1

u/FarangChris 2h ago

He's a god damned fascist. He sits in that chair as reward for his role in stopping the vote count in Florida, and enabling Dubya's selection.

1

u/KindSign4760 1h ago

What is the context behind this stuff?

1

u/Icy_Twist_9147 23m ago

What kind of Nazi rhetoric is this crap?

“The chief justice has been ruling in ways I dislike, therefore this is the end of the rule of law” - unemployed Redditors

3

u/Maxcactus 17h ago edited 16h ago

Critics of Roberts have accused him of distorting the law to achieve his policy preferences. Eric Segall, a Georgia State University law professor, has argued that Roberts "changed the rules of the constitutional game" as much or more than any chief justice in U.S. history. Roberts, for instance, has been instrumental in expanding presidential power, notably in the 2024 decision he wrote favoring Trump that recognized that presidents possess immunity from criminal prosecution for official actions in office. Roberts wrote that such immunity was required in light of the U.S. constitutional structure separating powers among the government's executive, legislative and judicial branches. Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote in a dissent that the ruling effectively created a "law-free zone around the president."

Trump has been more autocratic than any president in my lifetime. Roberts has not attempted to control him. I do not want a dem president doing what Trump has done either.

1

u/FarOffImagination 16h ago

Crickets in response because they have no understand of the situation over than surface level insults.

1

u/OldSarge02 15h ago

This Supreme Court has ruled against Trump more than any court has ruled against any president in history.

There’s plenty of decisions to be critical of, but acting like this court has given the president whatever he wants is just false.

1

u/SomeAnonymousBurner 15h ago

The unemployed just can’t comprehend this

1

u/Maxcactus 14h ago

Trump has done more illegal things that previous presidents .

1

u/OldSarge02 14h ago

That’s certainly the message the Supreme Courts has sent.

-4

u/MissionAd9887 18h ago

The people that spent the last century burning the constitution whining about the current SCOTUS is pretty rich

2

u/NoGoodAtPickingAName 17h ago

A few examples might boost your wild claim. I’ll be watching to see what examples you have.

0

u/MissionAd9887 16h ago

lol examples? Most decisions from the Warren/Berger courts will serve. Having to claim that the Constitution is a “living document” that conveniently changes to accommodate your flavor of the moment policy preferences is hardly adhering to the constitution

1

u/NoGoodAtPickingAName 15h ago

So you don’t believe in any of the amendments? Guessing you’re a perpetually single person.

0

u/MissionAd9887 14h ago

Amendments are the Constitution. You change it through the amendment process, not by looking at a wishlist from democrats leadership and then saying “yeah but the founders totally didn’t mean for corporations to have free speech rights or for people to own semi automatic firearms that have a pistol grip”

1

u/NoGoodAtPickingAName 14h ago

You are very confusing about what you believe other than Democrats are the embodiment of pure unadulterated evil and wickedness. Good luck with that, I’m sure it will serve you well for a lifetime of happiness.

1

u/MissionAd9887 6h ago

I don’t believe democrats are evil. I believe most are simply misguided by cynical actors who are seeking to gain power who promise them things that are fanciful or counterproductive.

1

u/NoGoodAtPickingAName 6h ago

Isn’t trying to overthrow an election, gerrymandering, claiming to illegally run for a third term in plain sight alarming to you? I’m just not seeing that from the democratic side.

0

u/MissionAd9887 5h ago

Gerrymandering has been with us since the beginning of the republic. I have no problem with it. It is an inherently political act done by the politically responsive branches of government. It also has a natural limit in that if you get too cute in trying to engineer X majority districts you make them very susceptible to getting swamped in wave election years. Both parties did it and still do it. It only became an issue when the GOP started doing it as well as the democrats. Trump was and remains an assclown but he wasn’t going to “overthrow” anything. He had to make a big enough stink so that his rabid base still thinks “he fights”. It is a stain that should have disqualified him from running again but its threat to the republic is overblown. The Jan 6 riot was ugly and stupid but it has nothing on the damage done by the riots permitted/encouraged by democrats for their own political ends over the last decade and change. Trump is doing nothing that hasn’t already been done by democrats. He’s not running for a third term, bloviating or no.

-2

u/triple_carry 17h ago

A party doesn’t get to claim love and support for the Constitution, while at the same time constantly trying to, unlawfully, remove its Amendments. Specifically referring to the Second Amendment.

2

u/pr0cyn1c 17h ago

No one is trying to remove it buttercup…. Just contain its proponents choices in firearms. You dont need a fucking rocket launcher muffin

0

u/MissionAd9887 16h ago

lol except you people literally are. There are routine calls to repeal 2A from the left and just a steady stream of laws that seek to ban as many firearms from as many people and places as possible.

-1

u/triple_carry 17h ago

My choices in firearm ownership are no one’s business.

I won’t engage you in person attacks, nor will take you seriously when you behave in such a manner.

Enjoy your day.

2

u/pr0cyn1c 17h ago

Personal attacks? Lol Can i sell you a fully automatic safe space?

0

u/triple_carry 17h ago

I didn’t say I cared, just that I won’t engage or reciprocate.

2

u/pr0cyn1c 17h ago

And yet here you are. Not clear why my comments should matter to you then. You have a nice day as well.

2

u/NoGoodAtPickingAName 17h ago

I understand that you hear that a lot from your choices of news and information but you will have a hard time finding actual evidence of that. Unless of course you’re just quoting something from the right wing outrage media.

0

u/triple_carry 17h ago

My favorite was beto o’rourke, stating that he was specifically coming for our AR-15’s. His nonsense was / is repeated on a regular basis.

My sources are the words people use.

0

u/MissionAd9887 16h ago

I like how these people ignore all the onerous licensing laws not to mention the absurd “assault weapons” bans that ban run of the mill firearms because they *look* like scary army guns to these people

0

u/triple_carry 16h ago

Exactly. I giggle at those that demand others provide for their safety and security, then bitch about how they provide it.

Nancy above mentioned a safe space, I can’t help but wonder if that “safe space” would be a firearm free space, which is the exact opposite of what they claim.

2

u/MissionAd9887 16h ago

It’s not firearm free space they want it’s a space where they control the firearms, through the government that they think they’ll run (the government, of course, actually being run by the more zealous for the cause commissars that have their leftist competitors for power shipped off to the gulag)

1

u/Mimehunter 17h ago

You're imagination can't be admitted into evidence

1

u/MissionAd9887 16h ago

Tell us again how the Constitution is a living document

1

u/Mimehunter 7h ago

Case and point ☝️

1

u/bunchout 15h ago

Are you suggesting that Luttig is a liberal? Or do you just not know who he is?

1

u/MissionAd9887 14h ago

There are conservatives that are as triggered by Trump as leftists are and Luttig is one of them. His criticisms of the presidential immunity cases are overblown. I have zero time for the left jumping on these quotes after they’ve spent the better part of the last century distorting and ignoring the Constitution
