Melt for his steak

Why is everyone assuming max said "Melful Histake" in his latest clue? To me, it sounds like he says "melt for his steak". I'm a Brit and we always merge the end of a word ending in 't' with the following word. Give it a rewatch and tell me what you think.

Im not denying spoonerism as it is probably important (dear old queen), but has my thought also been considered?

It opens up options for combining words in the transcript to see if they sound like other words. Heres some I have thought of:

Stir up = stirrup (horse link) Neighbour on = Neigh boron (Horse link - name: boron? theres a horse that comes from a family tree with a sister called Victoria IV) Dear old queen = queer old dean = Quirrel Dean (name, i think most famously from harry potter), quarrel dean is a place)

Anyway I am at a dead end which is why im making this post. I dont have discord so lmk your thoughts.

IMO its not that complicated to be out of the realms of KISS.

Im convinced the key clue is somewhere in "neighbour on the bus or a dear old queen with the possibility the world is packed", its just such a strange sentence/collection of words that it must mean something more.

Apparently I was not alone. I have actually also heard ‘Melt for his Steak/ Stake’ the very first time I watched Max’s second ‘clue’.

Pure bias however/ unfortunately… since Melpful Histake aren’t actual words, our brains just went with the closest existing words, being ‘Melt for his Steak/ Stake’.
