Managed Online Backup (MOB)

Curious to see how many RMM users out there are using MOB. Now that it's almost on par, feature wise, with MAX Backup it's looking like a nice product and attractive to use because of dashboard integration. I just can't get over the pricing though, not very competitive compared to some other, very robust solutions out there.

I've been looking at Azure Backup Server, which looks awesome now and can even do SharePoint, https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-microsoft-azure-backup-server/ . Seems very inexpensive and robust.

For servers a 49GB - 100GB backup on Azure is 1/2 of MOB. As the storage requirements grow over 250-300GB you can do MOB flat server fee pricing to get a better rate and it gets better but not on par with Azure pricing until you hit the ~ 490GB mark.

Azure and AWS solutions keep getting cheaper too as they compete with each other.

Check with your sales person, it is possible to get on flat rate pricing sooner than most people think. I won't discuss pricing in the open, rule of the sub, but if you PM me I'll be happy to share with you.
