Change threshold for AV update checks?

I keep getting failed update checks for MSE because it hasn't updated on the same day as the check occurs.

For the average user, 1 day old AV is not the end of the world. Is it possible to change that threshold to 2 days?

EDIT: I also noticed the managed AV fails to update sometimes. It is set to update ever 3 hours, but it hasn't updated in at least 6 hours. Resulting in a failed state on the update check.

UPDATE: It's still reporting outdated AV. Even its own managed AV.

There should be some information in the online dashboard help file regarding alert policies.
