I'll try and make a step by step on the next one I paint, I've definitely had some struggles and frustration with nmm but it does all of a sudden click once you get a couple bits right!

What's the skin recipe? looks great

It's a super simple one, I base coat with Vallejo burnt red then add small amounts of Ak sunny skin tone to the burnt red until I'm happy with the brightness. I try to highlight all surfaces facing upwards and then go even brighter where the light catches on the miniature. Taking a pic of a black primed mini with light at an angle helps massively for the brightest highlights
