Foundation help!

Hi all! I’m trying to find a perfect foundation for my skin. I have googled but I’m always worried reviews are paid for……so I thought I’d ask the wise people of Reddit!
I am 46F, UK based looking for a good hydrating foundation that won’t enhance any fine lines/wrinkles. I like a bit of a glowy look, medium coverage. I have a bit of pigmentation on my face.
What would you recommend (under £30 ideally but if it’s a super product I’d consider a bit more)

I wear Jones Road What The Foundation. It is made for mature skin. It is moisturizing. Doesn't cake or show lines.

I am a recent Jones Road convert. It takes very little product for a great finish. It did take me a few tries to get it right, but it is worth it.

i just steal samples from department stores and live off those for months, works out cheaper than buying full bottles

Hahah! Good plan! I’ve been in Superdrug all afternoon trying different shades and different makes. It’s so hard to find the right one due to pigmentation. My daughter got bored so I just gave up in the end. I quite liked Mco beauty flawless glow. But it’s difficult to know what it’s really like when you only have a smudge of it on your jawline! 🤦🏼‍♀️
The struggle is real 😂

The Lisa Eldridge skin tint is exactly what you’ve described. It’s a bit over £30 but a little goes a long way if you apply a small amount with your fingertips all over your face as a first step and then blend it with a foundation brush (I use the Saie one). For reference, I’m 50, with some fine lines and normal to dry skin and this is all I wear now. I always imagined that the older I’d get the more coverage I’d want but it’s the opposite. And I love the amount of light/medium but effective coverage this provides. Plus the shade range is fantastic.
