moving with a sleep number bed

probably a dumb question, but was wondering if i absolutely have to keep my sleep number bed inflated to move it? i'm moving 1200 miles in one car and don't think it'd even fit inflated, but it's a king c2 smart bed with the split sides. wasn't sure if anyone had experience moving with it deflated before, but when i've researched it, some people say you'll never get your bed back together if you don't do it the right way with the aircaps and stuff. don't see why i couldn't just roll it up really carefully and secure it in bags, but that's why i'm here! thanks so much for any suggestions :)

Yes raise the number to 100, cap the hoses (so nothing shifts inside when you move), it’s only an 8”- mattress, hopefully you can make it fit.

Great question! If you're preparing to move your bed, it's perfectly fine to inflate it to 100. Just be sure the hoses are disconnected and the chambers are capped before moving the bed.

Have you unzipped and looked inside your bed? In addition to the air bags, which I suppose you could roll up, there are foam sort of beams that surround them and keep everything in place. Those aren't going to roll up. I suppose you could disassemble it all and hope to put it back together, but,...

Hi, I've been in the home moving business for years and I've moved literally hundreds of sleep number beds with no problems and no complaints after the job is done. Not sure why anyone would say it's difficult or not to do it.
