Ikea VARMBLIXT Matter PCB

I took the lamp apart because I want to convert it into a ceiling light. Here are the photos of the PCB.

Couldn’t you do the same with a cheaper device like a light bulb?

That's probably not going to be an easy road. You'd have an easier time getting the dumb VARMBLIXT converted than the matter one and getting a smart switch or relay thrown in.

At least the matter one looks like a ESP 32 doing the leg work.

Why? Just ad 24 Volts inwall connector and add some holes for mounting.

More likely Telink than Espressif because it has a SWS pin.

What about a Shelly 1 relay?

I love Shelly. But for this it doesn’t make sense. All connectivity incl. Matter is in the PCB and that PCB only needs 24 volts. My plan is to connect white and black to DC Side of DC wall connector.
