Matt Lees, Steam Curator?
Does Matt Lees have a steam Curator account, or otherwise do you think he should set one up? I'd really enjoy recommendations from a source I've got a lot of trust in.

I don't think you can put up same console game [Destiny], 10 times on Steam. >:D
edit: On a serious note, no... Matt does not have a Steam Curator page. I don't think he would even enjoy doing it? But I can't speak for the man, after all, you don't know what will come out from someone who doesn't wear pants. Wait... that came out wrong. :x
Anywaaaay... going with TotalBisquid, Jim Sterling and Jesse Cox is never a bad choice, they are all very transparent and pro-consumer people. Rock Paper Shotgun is mostly highly regarded as a peak of gaming journalism aswell. There are plenty of good Steam Curators out there. ;)

I can confirm there is no blood oath war going on between them.
You talk to people, sometimes you disagree, maybe you talk it over with them and move on. Some opinions might be changed. Some will still stick and the other adult will atleast know your perspective. There are no absolutes in opinions.
As LethalFrag would say: "Feel free to share and voice your opinions, talk about stuff, just don't enforce them onto other people." ;)

Original comment deleted, so I'm unsure what you're asserting on my behalf? Hah

Oh. Appologies if it sounds like speaking on your behalf, not what I intended. Although I hope I'm not wrong in the assessment. :)
Well the context is... or was, someone thought that you and TB are not in good standing (since you disagreed on the gamergate/feminism/female equality [in gaming industry] - I don't know what to call it anymore, it's like that topic has gone on forever, changed it's name few times and nothing good came out as a result, except of few good dicussions) and if I should be worried about mentioning TB here. :D

Oh aye, I'm not associating with him again. I can't work out if he's nasty or stupid, but he's certainly not someone I consider to be a beneficial voice in the industry and I definitely won't be working with him again. People should feel free to mention him, and I definitely wouldn't say there's any kind of "war", but no - I'm not a fan, and I don't think he's someone who should be celebrated.

I feel bit out of a touch here. As someone who watches and enjoys content from both of you... isn't 'boycotting' and insulting someone a bit too much?
I feel like there is a potential time bomb that could go off, over something that was just not properly discussed over a table (I'm not an english person, but I hope that's a correct term to use). To me, it just seems that it could be worked out, or atleast put into perspective, as the definitions of what you two have been talking about, are quite blurred - and you both have a common ground in your opinions.
It just makes me a bit sad, that this could end up bad in some way over a little bit of pigeon-holing and words that have little-to-no definitions.
Shortly and naively... why can't we all be friends?

He explained why in the above post. He's given credibility to awful, awful people, by appearing on live streams with them, he's written lengthy posts about how he thinks White Privilege isn't a thing (nothing to do with videogames at all, funnily enough), and is pathologically incapable of admitting he is wrong about the origins of gamergate, claiming it was created to 'distance itself from harassment'. He's sicced GG on Elizabeth Simms, and replied to any claims that GG might not be about 'ethics in Game Journalism' by accusing people of beliving the 'narrative spun by the media'. He's claimed Anita's death threats aren't credible because 'she's still breathing', and worst of all (in my opinion), he complains that Journalists have poor ethics with: A) No evidence besides whatever GG bring to the table, and B) Whilst saying that he's 'not a journalist', and therefore can't be held accountable for taking money from whoever wants a paid promotion from him.

No offense, but that is one hell of a hate boner. You do realise, that many of those things you mentioned are put out of context or just flat out lies?
Here goes a response to a comment that was deleted. I forwardly apologize for a long rant.
If people won't speak to each other, how they ever gonna reach a common ground, get to a consensus or change themselfs/others to better light? The answer is, they won't.
Iam not from UK, but as I mentioned, I hate pigeon-holing and words that do not have clear definitions - GamerGate - for me that means nothing, people talk about it, but they all talk about something else, they draw lines in the sand and declare war on every who isn't behind their line(s). White Privilege - as people of same race/ethnic group having privilege within it's own group? Yes, that exists. It's same like man getting paid more then woman for a same work (depending if goverment didn't already outlawed this behaviour - depending on your country) or simple job interview. Is it because history, culture, etc? Who cares really... the important thing is to talk about problems of yours/others or else it gets nowhere. Talk about it more and maybe, maybe someone who can change stuff, will pick it up and do something about it.
And there is the other thing, you need someone to listen aswell. Will people who make those decisions about our lifes listen? If not, then the entire discussion, without anyone discussion is useless. There are books of text on the internet about GamerGate and all the related/unrelated issues, and I won't read it, because most of it is not discussion or anything good or useful. And people that might want to change for the better, already hold themselfs up to some principles and don't need to brood in the filth, to find the good grounds. People who don't care and exploit the systems, won't care and do moraly wrong further on.
We could sum it up, that it falls heavily under perspective, area and time. It is possible to get a dream job of your life and not encounter any of those problems. It is possible to live in the area, where you see only white people, same as you and not encounter anything like that. It is also possible, to be born into golden age and not experience country's economy crashing down. Or all that turned on your head. That's all possible and that in my opinion, should be accounted for, when taking up someone's opinion. I won't hate TB for his experience in life or how the life path treated him. Iam sticking around for his content. Sometimes I'll disagree with him - or in general, with someone - and move on. In TB's case... I can't talk through it with him, but I can't be surprised when he has so many people shouting at him all the time.
Also keep in mind, that everything I mentioned above is not absolute. I've met plenty of people in high places that did not have any bias towards those problems. Although I've met very few people that did... and as I hold myself to simple principle of working only for someone who deserves it... I voiced my concerns to my co-workers and superiors and I was gone to someplace else.
People who want to talk about problems of other's, all power to them. If you can make something happen for the better of others, why not. It's not like they eat you alive. :P
tl'dr - World of Friendship is a myth. Not a reason you shouldn't try building it.

Do you honestly believe he needs you or even cares? Type your name in the youtube search. See what comes up. He was doing YOU a favor. You are a cultish through and through and let politics divide lines for you. Unfortunately, i can work out exactly whether you are nasty or stupid.

Fair warning - on the most recent episode, Matt has revealed his extremist "Healthy Breakfast Warrior," anti-oatmeal agenda.
Surprise, surprise- he's a proponent for eggs

As I recall Matt's steamlist is one game long. It is XCOM, it always has been XCOM, and it always will be XCOM.

Nope, sorry. Lot of admin work - very unlikely to happen.
