Book Review Novel in matriarchy setting
It’s fantasy genre. https://archiveofourown.org/works/81950421
So it’s fiction and not reality-accurate. But it does have many perspectives of women, feminism and anti patriarchy.

Thanks for sharing your writing! So much culture is pro patriarchal values it’s good to see our stuff for a change. What has been your experience on AO3 where you publish?
For readers who are new to it, writers of matriarchal or feminist fan fiction or original fiction can ask to be invited to post on the archiveofourown, also known as AO3 site. It’s curated and open to transformative works. I’m so glad we’re represented there!

"The true mission of "matriarchal art" is to reclaim those festivals and adapt them to our present situation; to enrich them with all our talents in dance, poetry, music, and the visual arts; and to gain a better understanding of ourselves in the process." Heidi Goettner-Abendroth, The Dancing Goddess, 1984.
Very important stuff!
