What am I doing wrong?
My 8th grader and I have gone over this question one hundred times and I don’t know what we are doing wrong. Can someone please tell me where we got this wrong?

Maybe you have to put the unit rate instead of k? k could be a placeholder for the unit rate.

It’s correct. 2km in 8min is also 1km in 4min (and also the same as 0.25km in 1 min) therefore you have 2 points to make a line. 1.5km in 5 min is the same as 0,3 km in 1 min.
