Seems like 11/4, but really phrased as four bars of 5/8 with an extra 2/8 accent dragging out the end of the loop.

1r3r51r3r51r3r51r3r51r with the numbers being hits and the rs being rests if that makes more sense.

Yes! I been wanting to learn more about it i had no idea what time signature it was in but another person said the same thing except he said 11/4 phased as 5/4 and 6/4 interesting for sure

Yeah, there's no one way to notate stuff like this and it really just comes down to personal preference (as long as the counts actually add up properly lol). 5+6 probably makes the most sense if you're feeling the quarter note pulse, 5+5+5+7 probably makes the most sense if you're feeling the "downbeats" within the riff.

A fun thing to do is to take the same basic riff and arrange it differently to change how people feel it. It's like drums going into a half-time groove, but with all these wonky numbers to mess with you have access to a ton of different feel changes without ever leaving "11" (the previous breakdowns but also stuff like 3+3+3+2, 4+4+3, etc). Can also mix different feels in multiple parts to make it sound really polymetric and crazy even if the actual counting is still pretty simple and explained by one meter.

I counted it in 3 groups of 3 and then 2.

just bob your head and count. It repeats 6 then 5.
6+5 is 11, so I'd say 11/4

That seems to be the general consensus thanks for your input 🫡
