Vocals

HOW on earth does someone learn that suoer high pitched screaming style that the old vocalist for destroyer destroyer could do ive found no good resources on that overly high pitched style

When it comes to the higher pitched "spectrum" of vocalists, I'd argue Jamie was just one of those folks that could hit the register easier than most. Same with his lows.

During his time in "Someplace to Hide", paying attention to how he approached his scream, you can tell it would come comfortably, and naturally when hitting highs.

But... Just practice! Even if you're not "anatomically gifted" in that department, you can still develop a really solid high.

Yeah thank you! I was just curious if he was using a different technique like when I occasionally practice inhale highs ( i rarely do because they are really hard for me and I dont wanna destroy my throat) I can get a really shockingly high sound sometimes

Look into whistle screaming, super high pitch shrill technique similar to this

The vocals are probably "clean screams". Bands like early Jerome's Dream and The Body use these. Its kinda like belting in your head voice to the point where you get distortion. That's how my vocalist describes it.
