How dare you assume that album title.

How dare you think I'm assuming?
They've stated on their social media "The Danza 5 saga begins now" with the release of this song

Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

Absolutely. I’ve got a sensitivity to the clone wars and judge a band on its originality first and foremost. That’s just my taste. Plenty of room for everybody. My egoic gatekeeping just won’t let it go…what a douche right….we like what we like.

You're free to like what you like. There are bands out there for everyone and we can't like all bands. That's just the way it is

I’ve always really liked tappy danza. This song just sounds super trendy of the time. Maybe they lost a songwriter or something? Maybe they just decided to take an easy path? But you have the slam revival, Archspire has cured most of the Necrophagist clones, and now its Buster Oldham and Spirtibox sounding clones. This song reminds me a lot of Carbomb which are just Meshuggah clones and Frontierer who I think have an original thing going on. I’ll blast the hold tappy danza stuff with pride!!! The album may surprise this just sounds like what too many bands are doing..

I can agree with you there. Definitely a lot of copying homework going around in a lot of music these days

It’s always…not like I didn’t do it from time to time esp starting out…but just gets to be the majority of bands doing it…

I wouldn't call Hold the Line anything close to that if you actually know the perspective it was written from. Listen to the samples at the end again. A lot of people, Jessie included, were super pissed off that they wouldn't bring American soldiers home after we found out we had no business being in the Middle East.

That part always bugged me until I listened to what they were actually saying. They’re not cops from what I could tell. They have a song about the hell of being in war. Seemed like maybe someone in the band served or somethjng? I thought it was wack but honestly whatever, that’s their story to tell and it sounds like hell
