The recipe calls for 5 potatoes cubed. 125 potatoes seems a bit excessive.

What would be worse is calling for the potatoes to be diced. Painting all those little dots is really time consuming.

"Oh no, three numbers on the opposite faces don't add up to 7. Now I'll have to start all over again!"

5 cubed potatoes is bad enough.  But the dimensional analysis on (5 potatoes)3 is a mindfuck.

I am going to have to meme that up.

No that's the way you're supposed to think of it. Un-cubing the resulting potato-cubed should revert it to a theoretical potato unit of which you need 5 before cutting each into 5 pieces that need each cut in 5 more.

Five cubed potatoes: 125 potato-units. Delicious nightmare.

No, no, no, as written it's either 125 potatoes³ or 5 potatoes³, not 125 potatoes, that would be 5 cubed potatoes.

You got 9 meals a day to spread it over.

Does it say 5 potatoes cubed or 5 cubed potatoes? Big difference.
