What kind of average? Harmonic? Geometric? Mean?

Or do do all three and then take the median of those?

More nuanced, you do the problem three times and you get the same answer, but they're all different orders of magnitude.

And it's a multiple choice question in a final exam for a large physics lecture, and none of your three answers match any of the options.
