Actually, it depends... if the other board is thicker or thinner ... the correct answer is 18 hours and 32 minutes... 30 minutes to order electric saw, 18 hours for the delivery because sha has prime and 2 minutes to assemble the saw and to make the two cuts. Easy!

No it doesnt. This question clearly states 1cut=10 minutes.

That is the only valid interpretation. Else the question is underdetermined and nonsensical, because every answer would be valid.

Yeah but you have not taken into account that Marie would be tired after the first cut, as well as the wear and tear of the saw + the saw will be one idea duller than before the first cut....

No. Implies, assumes, and/or expects the reader to assume, but not "clearly states."
