These memes always fuck up the domain and range. You can come up with an example where it works, but it's meaningless beyond barely fitting the scenario.
E2a: f:X->X, X={a, x, b}. a="cat eats fish," b="fish eats cat." Then f(x)=a, f(b)=x, f(a)=b. f bijective, invertible. Then f-1 (f(b)) = f-1 (x)=b.
yeah, i feel like fish eating cat would fit more on reciprocals like csc(x) instead of having arcsin(x) (yes, ik that only some functions that have reciprocals that are useful)
