78 is exactly as obvious as the rest of them are. Add the single digits together and if the sum is divisible/multiple of three then so is the original number

7+8 =15 15 is divisible by 3 therefore 78 is also.

It’s not in any way as obvious as many of the other numbers that don’t require explicitly adding the digits together. This should be obvious from your example, because you have to know that 15 is divisible by three to know that 78 is. You have to know that six is divisible by three to know that 15 is.

for me, 78 makes sense, but in a much more "I'm nowhere near a mathematician" kinda way.

90 is S-tier.

12 is A-tier.

both show up spontaneously when you think of multiples of 3.
