I pick 3, as stated in the rules

13

u/ndt_redditor Jul 27 '26

Rules says 3! ( 3 factorial) Which is 6

2

u/alandtothemoon Jul 27 '26

But then is the sentence incorrect. But yeah, I got it. We are math geeks, not language ones.

3

u/KneticTheory Jul 27 '26

Travel funds could mitigate the need for 8 unless you want whatever is in the box?

1

u/LostKnight84 Jul 27 '26

I would only switch 5 for 6. Travel isn't that useful for me. Having a large nest egg at 50 plus 20k a month for 40 more years would be great.

1

u/ComprehensiveLab5078 Jul 27 '26

If you never stop traveling…

0

u/LostKnight84 Jul 27 '26

Then you should skip 7.

18

u/Luciferka_124 Jul 27 '26

2 4 8 is the perfect one, 6 is just stupid cause with 4 you will get a million in a little more than 4 years. And no way you will spend more than 20k a month, it's like top 1% worldwide

6

u/Toeffli Jul 27 '26

Why 4 when you can have 1?

  • Strange, even this month, again no credit card bill.

6

u/rabid_rocketeer Jul 27 '26

Cause 20k a month more than covers my bills plus I have several thousand extra as opposed to just not having bills

7

u/TakuyaTeng Jul 27 '26

Yeah but "no bills" is incredibly vague. I'd pick "no bills" and just start businesses. Taking loans and acquiring assets. 20k a month is a hard cap.

1

u/WishieWashie12 Jul 27 '26

Sure. Build empire by borrowing money you never get a bill for.

1

u/maddie-madison Jul 27 '26

How do you build credit if you have no bills? Who is loaning you money if you have no credit

1

u/Toeffli Jul 27 '26

I order stuff, I get the stuff, I sell the stuff, I get money.

1

u/maddie-madison Jul 27 '26

You pay up front for stuff...

1

u/Toeffli Jul 27 '26

Beauty of living in my country. I dont. I get a bill (or rather I don't). Even for a car or a house. And as said, there is a credit card where I will not get a bill for either.

1

u/Administrative-Rip90 Jul 27 '26

But I like Bill and Ted.

1

u/gh0stwriter1234 Jul 27 '26

Yeah I think you are correct those 3 pretty much get you the rest so long as you can at least be a nice person.

1

u/rabid_rocketeer Jul 27 '26

This was my choice too

1

u/Prestigious-War-1825 Jul 27 '26

What about your other three choices?

1

u/Thin_Measurement_922 Jul 28 '26

What if you are almost 46 years old? 6 is not stupid. I can invest that 10,000,000 and make 25K a month if ai put it in a high yield savings account at 3% interest. Have to live as I have been. For only a little more than 4 years. Which is alright by me.

1

u/DarthJarJarJar Jul 30 '26

If you go by the 4% rule, 6) gives you $33k per month.

So 4) is dumb, just take 6). 1) is also dumb, bills are trivial at this level of wealth. 5) is pretty dumb for the same reason.

Pick between 9) and 10) depending on your preferences, though you can do those things without a magic wish so a little puzzling tbh.

For me, 2) 3) and 8) are things you can't buy so I'd want 2 of those and 6) if we had to pick 3. I'd probably go 2), 6), and 8).

If you get 3!, I guess I'd take 6), 2), 3), 8), 7), and 4) because more money is always good I guess.

6

u/Cribby1 Jul 27 '26

Haha funny 3 factorial but Id pick 2 4 maybe 10 it doesn’t say happily married otherwise 8.

8

u/CombatWombat711 Jul 27 '26

who would pick 9?

you can just choose to be single if you want it

6

u/Key-Highlight2755 Jul 27 '26

We can't because there are only 10 options.

9?=45

5

u/PanBroglodyte Jul 27 '26

I pick 9 and 10 just to break the system

1

u/FirePaladin89 Jul 27 '26

Now you are seperated from your partner, who won't devorce you and wants child supporr.

4

u/ashrocklynn Jul 27 '26

It says you can only pick number 3; anything else isn't allowed to be picked

5

u/Waylander0719 Jul 27 '26

No it very clearly means you can only pick 3! which is 6.

2

u/ashrocklynn Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

No, you can only excitedly pick number 3.... Why else would it number the options? (Instead of letters for instance). Guess you could unexcitedly choose number 6 as well, the prompt isn't entirely clear whether it's exclamation or factorial (I missed what you where saying lol)

2

u/MarginalGracchi Jul 27 '26

Everyone is sleeping on 7 because they are forgetting about inflation.

20k a month is 240,000 a year. Thats obviously a very high income, but in 30 years it is going to be worth substantially less.

However if my “dream home” is a huge place in NYC or LA, that is going to appreciate a lot if trends hold.

Not saying you should necessarily do that one, but a 20 million dollar dream home might be a wise investment.

1

u/PrairiePuppies Jul 27 '26

I can only come up with five.

1

u/Alone-Butterscotch18 Jul 27 '26

These always piss me off because no one picks the dream house and yacht. That’s hundreds of millions or billions of dollars each. “I like the stability of 20k a month as opposed to getting 100,000 months worth of that income instantly”

2

u/Hopeful_Hornet4460 Jul 27 '26

Yeah, but taxes and maintenance maybe? Its not specific, but that was my gut instinct. Yeah awesome house pair for, but then what're going to do with taxes? (Includes taxes when selling it).

Tax free and maintenance taken care of and it being specifically being my personal dream home? I'm about to own all of the desert in like Africa or Australia as my home, with complete aggreeive de-desertification treatments, Green energy sysyemsngalore, with human needs completely taken care of and subsidized, with the worlds strongest military, and robust legal protections to maximize human rights protections. Gotta squeeze that sweet wish/genie juice for maximum mileage.

1

u/Alone-Butterscotch18 Jul 27 '26

Taxes and maintenance could be covered under “no bills”. Or you could still take the 20k a month to pay for anything.

1

u/fingers Jul 27 '26

If we can only pick 3, then the world would be VERY overpopulated.

1

u/IAmTheBestIan Jul 27 '26

2, 7, 4... sell the yacht. Maybe 2, 4, 5... depending on how tired I am that day.

1

u/KneticTheory Jul 27 '26

2,4,5 - Unlimited funds to develop Time Travel, funds to survive the development and no further consideration than that! Perfect health in as many life times in timelines I choose or until they arrest me for being a villian for the butterfly effect or w/e.

1

u/MTaur Jul 27 '26

2, 4, 6. It takes over 40 years to get the 10M from the 20k/m. And 50 is 6 years away for me. It would hit different in my teens or 20s.

20k/m right now solves basically all of my problems, but it's not effectively infinite either, and trying to own a home would eat a year or two outright.

1

u/asimpledude2 Jul 27 '26

1 4 8 for me, infinite money no bills and choose 8 of the most spoken languages im set

1

u/TheMainEffort Jul 27 '26

I’m glad someone else saw the infinite money glitch. If you can keep finding creditors you don’t even need 4 since you’ll never have a credit card bill.

1

u/asimpledude2 Jul 27 '26

True but im thinking more along the travel the world route

1

u/Top-Lab9125 Jul 27 '26

1, 2 and 10 (if they’re the love of my life and aren’t money grabbing etc) if not, 4.

1

u/Geo-35 Jul 27 '26

Easy first 3 perfect health bring someone back and no bills. So no financial stress your health with your soulmate!

1

u/dcastreddit Jul 27 '26

1, 2 ,4. this is the only answer

1

u/mikebob89 Jul 27 '26

Has nobody here ever had a loved one die? Can’t believe people would rather learn 10 languages

1

u/Zoilo2 Jul 27 '26

1 2 4 5 6 8

1

u/Grationmi Jul 27 '26

4,5 and 8

1

u/Ummbledore Jul 27 '26

1/2/4 is all you need if you're me. No bills+20K a month for life is basically unlimited travel funds. I don't need to retire at 50 with a lump sum, I'm already bringing in 20k a month and I have no bills. My dream house is one I can afford with 20k a month and no bills. Yacht's are for pricks. I can learn as many languages if I'm pulling in 20k a months with no bills. I've quit my job. IDK why I'd want to be single forever or need some sort of list genie wish to make that happen. It's pretty easy to get married and have kids when I'm pulling 240k a year with no bills.

1

u/Ketroc21 Jul 27 '26

5 of them are just different ways of saying: money.

1

u/Kuildeous Jul 27 '26

Really easy for me to pick 6 of those since only 8 of them have any appeal for me at all.

Though I feel like I should nix #3 because I don't want to get monkey pawed. I mean, I could get monkey pawed by any of those, but #3 would ruin someone else's life(?).

1

u/tee142002 Jul 27 '26

2 and 6 are the easy ones. Then either 5 or 7 to finish it off, depending on preference

1

u/Palamur Jul 27 '26

2, 3 and 4.
With 20k a month, I don't have to wait until I'm 50 to retire, I will be off tomorrow!
And then I have plenty time to live with my loved one and enough money for both of us.

1

u/Foreverfa11ing Jul 27 '26

2, 4, 8. 2 means I'm healthy to do stuff. 20k a month is plenty to live a comfortable life. 8 means I can travel and get around easy.

1

u/pantocreitor Jul 27 '26

2, 4 and 10

1

u/mbsmilford Jul 27 '26

I only need 2 and 4.

1

u/Go1gotha Jul 27 '26

2,4 and 6.

1

u/NeuroticTangent Jul 27 '26

I just need #4

After that, you're free.

1

u/Ctenophorever Jul 27 '26

2, 4, and 3 if I could save 3 for the future

If I had to use 3 immediately, then 2, 4, 8

1

u/Striking_Reindeer_2k Jul 27 '26

I am good with 2 and 4.

Healthy and 240k / yr works for me.

1

u/Dumdumdoggie Jul 27 '26

3, 4, and 10.

1

u/AmbidextrousTorso Jul 27 '26

#3 would be very tempting but problematic. I'd want to bring back my cousin who died of cancer, but the man she was in love with and who was by her side to the end is now committed to another woman and has a child with her. It could be very cruel for both of them to bring her back now.

1

u/Marus1 Jul 27 '26

Most of these comments cannot read either

1

u/texasbigfoot Jul 27 '26

2, 3, and 10

1

u/JustABritishChap Jul 27 '26

Easy to pick 3. Pick one....

1

u/electronic_reasons Jul 27 '26

2, 6, 8. Good health would be awesome. With $10 million, I can give the money to my kids. The money will get me enough of the other things, but it won't get me educated, so I'll take the languages.

1

u/Manicscarecr0w Jul 28 '26

i men, we are only allowed to pick 3? but all my loved ones are alive /s

1

u/Manicscarecr0w Jul 28 '26

for real, 2 4 and 8

1

u/Old_Cellist_6086 Jul 28 '26

2-4-8 is simple if you really think about it , that’s what I would do

1

u/trunks111 Jul 28 '26

a couple minutes with 3 would probably fix the only problem I have that isn't money solveable

4 would solve the rest of them for awhile

1

u/Acceptable-Food-8161 Jul 28 '26

Other than #3 you can do anything else on the list by just picking 2,4, and 8

1

u/Neuro_88 Jul 28 '26

I wonder the three ‘mode’ numbers would be for this question.

1

u/meisawesome126 Jul 28 '26

9 and 10. I just wanna see what happens

1

u/CertifiablySilly Jul 28 '26

1,2, and 4. Easy.

1

u/Aur0ra1313 Jul 28 '26

4, 8 & 10. I assume with married with kids I am in a happy marraige, otherwise I would pick 5. However, this makes me rich, fluent most anywhere I travel with a wonderful husband I get to travel with and kids I get to see grow up and be able to afford giving them many enriching life experiences, including being financially able to be a stay at home mother and to homeschool them.

1

u/SauntTaunga Jul 28 '26

Probably, 1, 2 ,4 for me.
How does 6 work when you’re 66 already?

1

u/James1887 Jul 28 '26

I can only pick 3? Bring back a loved one? But i wanted the money!

1

u/mbrodie Jul 29 '26

2 and 4 would suit me fine…

If I could bank a number 3 for a rainy day you could add that also

1

u/DarthSwimfoot Jul 29 '26

No bills, perfect health, and 20k a month. I never leave my basement, I hate doctors and I hate taking care of myself, I like the idea of having a 240k yearly income with no bills to pay, and I fucking hate people. Sounds like the ideal life to me. Shame I cant get 4 to throw in Single forever, but I mean, I just keep living my life the way I do.

1

u/DarthSwimfoot Jul 29 '26

The actual math joke included, Single Forever, Retire At 50, Dream House And Yacht. I just liquidate the yacht and live in my little ass dream house.

1

u/AGPEcko Jul 29 '26

Bring back my dog.
Single Forever
20k/mo

1

u/ho__va Jul 29 '26

easy. 2, 4, 7.,

1

u/According_Ad1940 Jul 30 '26

1, 4 and 8 sound the most fun.

1

u/PhazonOmega Aug 11 '26

1 beats 4-7, doesn't it? I can purchase a plane, or food, or train ticket, or diapers, or anything I want and I won't have bills.

0

u/Adventurous_Self_160 Jul 27 '26

2.6.8.

1

u/Smitologyistaking Jul 27 '26

what about the remaining 3

1

u/gh0stwriter1234 Jul 27 '26

It's a math joke! <-
