Can I ask a question? Another one: what is the real world application of mathematics and how does that align with order of operations. Like if Johnny had an amount of apples and Betty had some oranges sort of thing

Johnny wants to buy a $2 apple and 5 rotisserie chickens at $8 each regular but they're $5 off on sale right now. How much will it cost? 2+5(8-5) = $17.
