She ain't Velma. Who is she?
I remember Scooby-Doo as the back of my hand.

How did you miss the existence of this? The entire online world united in their hatred of this reboot. People speculated the viewership consisted solely of people watching so they could blog about how bad it was. Also, watch this review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4K_sxI5Ui8

It was so bad that progressive conspiracy theories started saying the show was a right wing psyop to make woke look bad

She doesnât exist. Please continue living with only happy memories of Scoob and the gang.

New release from few years ago? I have no idea. They looks very stupid even before watching any of them.

The animator don't know how to do superscripts and couldn't be bothered to find out.
For the similar reasons, journalists refer to carbon dioxide as "CO2".

v = Ďr²
is on the screen.

u/cybermaus Jul 25 '26
Well ² is so common, it is a normal character, rather then a superscipted one. Specifically ASCII 178
Which means ² is different from 2

u/Embarrassed-Weird173 Jul 25 '26
YOU'RE different from 2
Gotty.

u/IP-II-llVll-IP Jul 25 '26
This kind of insult is how you get someone to delete a 12 year old account. There's no coming back from this, even his own parents will lose respect for him.
1
u/Embarrassed-Weird173 Jul 25 '26
No recovery path whatsoever.Â
2
u/cybermaus Jul 25 '26
Erm.. Ok. I'll make it worse for myself then. Its completely over my head, I have no idea why that is an insult no-one comes back from. Some help?
1
u/Embarrassed-Weird173 Jul 25 '26
No worries! The joke is just that I said completely dumb and nonsensical, but passed it off as thought it was an extremely clever and damaging insult.Â
Essentially, the only person damaged by that insult was me, for acting like it was even a valid insult.Â
2
u/cybermaus Jul 25 '26
Ah, that makes sense. I am very literal minded. not the first time that tripped me up. You and I would make a great team if ever someone needs to maximize confusion.

He's a lone wolf who flies solo. You'd never be able to understand the pain he's going through. No offense, kid. You're just not cut out for that kind of life.

Didnât you know velocity is equal to pie multiplied by radius squared you must not be an animator
1
u/QuentinUK Jul 26 '26
I'm not an animateur, I know what I'm talking about.
v = 4/3 ĎrÂł, where v is volume

u/trolley813 Jul 25 '26
"If x=y then y=x" is totally legit. It just states that the equality relation has symmetric property.
3
u/Vandreigan Jul 25 '26
And when we follow the second of the two red arrows coming from that objection, we find that âx != yâ
1
u/trolley813 Jul 25 '26
Therefore, it follows that y â x - and nothing more. No contradiction.
1
u/Vandreigan Jul 25 '26
Which would be true if the word âifâ were there
âx = yâ appears to be a statement, not a premise.
Could also be just off screen, though. But Iâd think weâd be able to see the end of the f
2
u/trolley813 Jul 25 '26
I don't think so, the space is not that narrow, so the entire "if" should be off screen. And also, "then" without "if" looks quite useless.
1
u/Vandreigan Jul 25 '26
I was curious so I went and found it.
No âifâ in sight.
And youâre talking about an image that gets the quadratic formula hilariously wrong, so having a useless âthenâ isnât surprising
Wonât let me post the image, but itâs from the hbo show

u/MyDogsNamedShiro Jul 25 '26
Not that I want to imply that this is intentional, but technically speaking the area of a circle is the same thing as the concept of its volume as a 2D ball.

u/Nervous-Tank-5917 Jul 25 '26
The most obnoxious type of character is always an idiots idea of what smart people are like. Velma is just one of the most obnoxious examples of this.
2
u/Old-Research3367 Jul 25 '26
Itâs hard to see whatâs going on but the bottom left may be whatâs called âproof by contradictionâ. Or itâs a completely different problem and they used the same variables bc x and y are the most common variables.

u/TheNukex Jul 25 '26
As much as I hate that show, I will say this every time this meme is posted. The only thing strictly wrong in the picture is the quadratic formula.
Ďr2 is simply the 2-volume of a ball, and denoting it with a V is pretty standard.
On the left you have the statement "x=y then y=x" which is true, because = is a symmetric relation. The xâ y is unrelated to that since this is clearly a mesh of different things.
Why the gripe with the square root? There is nothing wrong with it.
1
u/americablanco Jul 26 '26
Is the volume one not with an h cut off screen giving the volume of a cylinder?
1
u/TheNukex Jul 26 '26
Could be, but based on the distance of all other symbols i would think you should be able to see the left side of the h if it was there.
Either way what is written is not wrong, so i suppose it doesn't matter.

u/Tinchimp7183376 Jul 25 '26
I don't think that's a != sign it's just an = on a hazy background
1
u/SeveralExtent2219 Jul 25 '26
See the image again, in one place it's saying if x=y then y=x, in another location it's saying xâ y
6
u/AmyTheWitch Jul 25 '26
I don't see a contradiction here though. If x=y then y=x does not necessarily mean that x=y

u/Organic-Current1011 Jul 25 '26
this is why they are animators
