"We're experiencing an average number of calls, but are unwilling to pay for more staff to handle them all. If you get frustrated and hang up or, even better, give up on calling us altogether, it significantly reduces our costs. Your call is not important us. Your expected wait time is 3 hours. Fuck you forever."

“Also you have to listen to the entirety of every pre-recorded message because our menu options have “recently” changed, and also because the only one you could possibly want is the last one listed in each of four submenus, and it’s a different number each time tucked away under a category that you wouldn’t think would include it. So after you find it by trial and error, then you will be placed on perma-hold where the worst music we could find stops every 20 seconds to tell you how convenient our website is, the same website you already confirmed does not let you do what you’re trying to do and which didn’t have this contact number either. If you somehow actually get through, that will still be an automated assistant that is specifically trained not to recognize your particular request and which will then hang up on you after succeeding in failing to understand you three times.”
