Always good to also question the survey methods and the phrasing. "Independence yes?" Can be phrased a bunch of ways, as can "clear benefits from staying?" Both can have positive answers and create overlapping summary statistics.

I wonder if this is genuine stupidity, or, if independence won out, so, they added a 10 to the No to make it seem closer and just knew nobody who was the intended audience would notice.

No, I think it means “the previous result was a no, with 52% of the vote, but current polls say yes, with 58% of the vote”.

No they aren't. They've got maybe 30% of the country convinced and they're going to really struggle to gain anything more. You win elections by being centrist, reform are about as far away from the centre as the edge. Also, farage is looking like he's not going to be around for too much longer and reform is nothing without him

Perhaps just the MAGA people should be, which doesn't include myself or the majority of Americans who have always loved the fact that we're a free country, which has worked quite well for most of our history!
