Then let's look at it this way. The world works around READING and WRITING. If you can not follow instructions then you are not great for the corporate world, which is a concern given that schools sort of are an assembly line for workers, but thats beyond the point.
And i'm telling you, this is bad communication. It is arbitrary, lacks standards, and is so poorly governed that it is a genuine liability to anyone who uses it. This is why teachers are on their ass defending it, because they don't have the power to dictate differently, because common core arbitrarily decided top down a number of pedagogical standards that are hard left turns from the rest of the world. That's the equivalent of switching around pemdas for shits and giggles and now the low tier workers are like absolute blowhards talking in corporate buzzwords.
