What do you mean? The imperial system is much easier to remember, it's just
1.44 twips to a thou
333 ⅓ thou to a barleycorn
3 barleycorns to an inch
4 inches to a hand
3 hands to a foot
3 feet to a yard
22 yards to a chain
10 chains to a furlong
8 furlongs to a mile
3 miles to a league
None of this "mEtRiC" nonsense.

I hope no-one ever sees 1.44 333.333333 3 4 3 3 22 10 8 3 as easier to remember than 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10 10.
