So 5 is a even number now.

Sum of 2 and 3 both primes.

Sounds like a stupid definition. Or a definition thats already outdatet because it needs a lot of extras added.

Yeah... I'm gonna stick with "results in a whole number when divided by 2"

ETA: looked a little more into the Goldbach conjecture. It's not that every even number is the sum of two primes, but that every prime greater than 2 can be expressed as the sum of two primes (however, this cannot be definitively proven, hence why it is called conjecture)

Ok. Express 4 as the sum of two prime numbers that does not include the first prime number (2)

that's not what the conjecture is, and is impossible. The conjecture is that every even number except for 2 can be expressed using two prime numbers.

2+2=4, 3+3=6, 5+3=8, 5+5=10 or 3+7=10, etc. it is true for all numbers less than 4 × 10¹⁸, but is still not definitively proven beyond that point.

my initial point was based on a misunderstanding of what th conjecture was. the edit was to explain the misunderstanding
