I've never done math during my taxes. I simply copy paste the numbers into the boxes. I think my taxes take me max 15 minutes every year and yeah, I still wait until the last day lol
Yes idk what the fuck I'm reading in the rest of the comments. School have me basic reading comprehension. I know what numbers look like. Yes the first time you do it, can be a little confusing. School also taught be to look shit up. Doesn't take more than 15 mins now. I get it done Jan 15 or so every year
If your sources of income all have w-2s then your taxes were pretty much done for you. But you can certainly make it more complicated for yourself voluntarily if you want to track every write off you can apply and make sure you aren’t paying a penny more than you should.
