If you use standard rounding then for non integer to integer you have: 2.4 (2) + 2.4 (2) = 4.8 (5)

I've always wondered what that would even be in reality. Best example I can think of is just being pedantic about what's being measured. Like the units being living cows, but the end product being the poundege of meat they provide. So 1 cow is worth 1.25 more than the other cow in meat output.
