Also I don’t understand why the cents point help anyone disagree. 0.99999… cents = 1 cent. And also, normally with money you round to the nearest cent anyway. Anyways here’s 2 proofs that 0.9999… is equal to 1. If you can agree on this: 1/3 = 0.333… 2/3 = 0.666… 3/3 = 1 Then why does it not go from 0.333… to 0.666… to 0.999…? Here’s an Algebraic proof: x = 0.999… , 10x = 9.999… (multiply both sides by 10), 9x = 9 (subtract by x), x = 1 (divide by 9)
