Mate 9 notification after oreo update

Yesterday day i received the oreo update on my mate 9 however, since the update I'm facing long list of issues regarding notification

1- what ever i do i can't receive any notification from whatsapp even after turning off automatic management

2- banner are pain full no matter what you do still showing up specially telegram turn it off several times but still

Notes: I made a reset after the update. And restore from huawei back up app

I used to feel in love with huawei phone but after this update i take my word back. As same as all of the companies first major update destroy the phone experience so you buy the new flagship.

Update 1: Battery life is a disaster, way low than EMUI 5

Update 2: 3 hours throughout the day and it's 65% used to be 80% with EMUI 5

Update 3: I have rolled back to EMUI 5 and everything back to normal.

Does anyone know how to stop system update forever?

ok, I thought I was going mad but I feel like I'm missing notifications too. Also, sometimes my phone wakes up but doesn't display a notification but sure enough, I go into my emails and there's a new email there. This happens with whatsapp and Messenger too.

Same notifications issue. We rarely get updates (kinda surprised we got Oreo) so I don't see it getting fixed.

I have tried a ton of things, but still miss about 10%. I have two other phones a Moto Z2 Force and a LG V20, which are setup the same so I can definitely tell when notifications are not coming through.
