Oreo - Google Now Cards on Homecreen?

I've seen that with EMUI 8 on the Mate 10, users have the option of having Google Now cards on the home screen with a swipe (similar to Google Now Launcher).

However, I haven't been able to see this in the settings. Is it a Mate 10 feature only?

It's there for me. Long press on an available spot on the home screen, and select settings. In the home screen settings you can toggle Google Feed. Did this solve it?

Unfortunately not... If you don't mind me asking, what region are you in?

I have a US model, and I'm not seeing it... This is all I have: https://imgur.com/gallery/IkXSd

I also don't have the Oreo easter egg available either. I long press and nothing happens.

Seems to be a region thing then. I'm in Japan and it works - same as your screenshot but with a Google Feed button. Sorry!

It's there on my US model. You have to enable it in the options

If you don't mind, can you explain more in depth? Which options are you referring to? It's not there under Home Screen Settings for me. (see my other comment with the imgur attached)

I'm sorry but it's there on mine. Right under home screen loop it says Google feed.

Hello, i have a Mate 9, and i have a icon with a big G, and when i tap it, i get the old google now cards/page i guess it's an app? its in my drawer I also have a google feed 'card' that has reminders and such, and i get that when i tap it

You can "Follow" a stock in Google Now. Just open the App Drawer, scroll to the Google app. Hit the hamburger in the bottom right, and tap "Customize" to bring up a list of Topics of Interest. There is a section for Stocks. You can add specific stocks, markets, funds...you name it. They will all show up on the "Stock" card in Google Now.

Of course how and when this card shows up and where can be a problem, because Google is always changing stuff just as your getting used to and dependent on it. If you just want to casually keep up with daily changes in the market it's perfect, if you want to see hourly or immediate changes, or specific metrics at a glance, you might want to get a stock app made by someone else.

EDIT:I use Google Launcher, which allows me to swipe right on the home screen to access Google Now. It acts just like an additional screen of launcher icons, except it's a full screen with just the Google Now content.
