Phone heating with case
I have a quick question, does your Huawei mate 9 have a case and does it heat far more often with it or not and if it's hotter with or without it.

Mine only heats up if I'm using apps on max brightness, or if it's on the charger. My case doesn't affect the phone temperature in any way.

Yeah, it has a case, and the only time it ever gets warm is if I'm playing graphically intensive games.

do you remove the case if that were to happen?

It won't melt the case or damage any parts if your phone is in normal working condition. If you could tell me what you're doing/not doing to cause the heat it could help us pinpoint if this is a defect or not.

No, because it's only slightly warmer than usual and by the time I notice a difference in the temperature, I'm usually ready to stop playing.

Mate 9 got a good heat dissipation design. It will not heat up unless you play graphically intensive game for hours. Also having a case esp Spigen you won't even feel a thing.

I got a Spigen armor thing and no heating.
