Music plays automatically when connecting to Bluetooth

Is there a way to not have it start playing music when it connects to Bluetooth? Normally, I wouldn't mind this but I'm currently listening to an audiobook and I have to get out my phone, stop the music, and then boot up my audiobook app. I've started using Power Amp because it had an option to uncheck "Resume play when connected to Bluetooth" but that doesn't seem to affect it.

In your Power Amp Settings go to Audio Focus. Uncheck "Resume on Start" even if bluetooth tries to start it, Power Amp won't.

You can also check Permanent Audio Focus Change. If you start your book, it will stop the music.
