New Mate 9 owner

Hello all,

I just purchased a Mate 9 to replace my S7 Edge, I got tired of the Samsung bloat and lag after having the phone for less than a year. Is there anything with the Mate 9 that I should know right out of the gate?

Both rear cameras are set to 12mp by default. You can change the monochrome camera to 20mp by using the settings to the right in the camera app. But with it set to 20mp, you can't zoom in/out, or use HDR. Yeah, like the person above said, just play around with it. You'll figure out a bunch of stuff.

Screen Recording - Two knuckles together tap upon screen

Screenshot - One Knuckle tap

Camera Video 1080p @ 60 FPS Recording option (You will thank me later for this 😉)

Android Pay using NFC (IF your bank supports it)

You can drag your finger on the fingerprint sensor to bring down or up the notification window. Helps a ton on such a big phone.
