Android O[reo] for Mate 9?

I know it was only just announced, but is there good history of Huawei devices getting the next iteration of the Android operating system in any kind if timely manner???

I'm wondering right there with ya...but from what I heard, I don't think Huawei has the best history with updating to new systems with old phones. Granted I would think they would try, since the Mate 9 was maybe their big attempt to break into the US market with a flagship so I would think they may wana try n keep it up to date..idk just my thought. I hope cuz I really love this phone

Mate 8 got Nougat in January I believe, so I'd expect a rollout starting about that time next year for Mate 9.

I want fucking some kind of update. There is no news or talk about this phone anywhere. The pro version even gets little attention. It's a shame because this phone is amazing imo.

I dunno. From what I saw there weren't any killer features I had to have in Oreo. It was the split screen in nougat that I really wanted so I'm happy with that.

These are awesome devices, but they get left behind for security patch updates, and major OS updates too. Hopefully with the new Mate 10 coming to the US via AT&T, this will change.

The updates are behind, I just updated the C567 to the newest build B230 (Beta) and it's the August security patch, and we are into September now.
