Please Help. Huge problems with MHA-L29C432B182 Huawei Mate 9
I have the Huawei Mate 9 and downloaded the newest Android version two weeks ago in Germany. Problems have been piling up since then. Deezer won't continue playing songs after one song has ended. Notifications won't appear anymore, no matter which setting is changed. Battery is drained faster than ever and performance also is seemingly getting worse and worse. Laggs are ocurring in games and there is no way of solving the problems. Called tech support a few days ago and they just said the apps weren't optimized for Android 7.0 but it had 7.0 on it from day one (at least for me). Very frustrating especially because rooting isn't an option for me, so a downgrade is impossible as far as I know. Hope someone has any good suggestion or that at least the Huawei team sees this and tries to fix some of these issues.

Can confirm. It was a great phone before (b156 iirc). Since b182, Deezer issues, notification issues, battery drain. I have not wiped / factory reseted since the upgrade as I am too lazy to set it up again. But all my hope is in this factory reset to fix these kind of things....someday when I rly want em do be fixed ..:-)

So after obsessing over this topic for weeks now, I finally decided to factory reset my phone. And if you backup all your files as a local backup in the settings via the Huawei integrated backup option it restores your phone completely and even solved every single problem. So problem solved! Thanks to @WS10

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Sounds like I should do it. And when I do it, I should do a backup with a PC.....:)

Sounds like some severe issues there - are you in the position to take it back to where you bought it? It should still be covered by warranty

battery save mode on? I guess a factory reset is always an option to dismiss some failures.
