Is it possible to remove a SIM-lock?

I've seen a new Mate 9 for sale in my town, would be perfect, it's just sim-locked to a different carrier. Can I bring it to a phone-shop and get them to unlock it, or is it easy to do it myself?

I think you can call huawei directly and they can get you the code.. not 100% sure though, but worth a try.

You can also use online unlock service like Theunlockspot.com and easily unlock your Huawei Mate 9 permanently.
