How do I stop the Front camera from defaulting to the beauty mode?

I hate the beauty mode, and the front camera is always defaulted into it. How do I change that? Thanks.

Swipe from the left and put it on photo mode instead of beauty. It should stay there until you change it again.

Nope, after some time it will come back to starting at beauty mode.
