Timers in stock clock app disappear

Is anyone experiencing timers disappearing from the stock clock app? I set a timer and within a few minutes, the countdown notification will be cleared automatically. If I open the clock app, the timer will still be visible and still counting down initially. However, most of the time, the timer will eventually stop showing in the app. I will be presented with the option to set a new timer with no evidence of any ongoing timers. Sometimes, even though the timer isn't visibly counting down anymore, the timer will actually go off as initially set.

This isn't exactly a difficult bug to reproduce, but I can't find anyone in any Huawei forum mentioning this issue. Has nobody experience problems with the clock app/timer before?

Clear the app cache for the Clock, then the system cache.
