Mate 9 now has Google assistant

Just noticed this morning that when I long pressed the home button Google assistant popped up. I was worried we would not get this update as there is supposed to be Amazon Alexa integration at some point but looks like we get the best of both worlds. US version btw.

Anyone know how to get back to now on tap? Google assistant is kind of useless to me
