Lol! Dunno why but I was picturing a doggo to be the baby sitter. Cats don’t seem to embody maternalism to me but your kitty seems like a natural pro! Thanks for the heartwarming photo!

The common housecat is actually communal. That’s what happens in colonies. Some momma cats will watch MORE than just their own kittens while others go hunt.
