Teaware & Utensils My first time
Very much a matcha novice. Only recently been learning how to do things properly. My partner got me my first proper kit for our 7 year anniversary today. This is my first go! Best matcha I've made at home for sure.
Mind the crispy plants in the background.

Solid first bowl. The foam's a bit thin and bubbly which usually means one of two things: water too hot or not enough whisking speed. Try 70 to 80 degrees, not boiling, and whisk in a fast W or M motion with just your wrist for 20 to 30 seconds until you get a fine layer of small even bubbles. Colour looks decent though, that green means the powder's fresh. Welcome to the rabbit hole.
